Focus group for the training “Presage of a pleasant retirement”.

Are you 45 years old or younger? This message is for you!

Topics like: money, pension plans, insurance, budget, taxes … are you interested? Would you like to learn more about financial planning? You would simply like to increase your knowledge or see if you are on the right track in terms of preparing for retirement. Then sign up for the chance to be selected and be part of the 15 members who will participate in the Focus group for economic training “Presence of a pleasant retirement”.

This 12-hour training will allow the participant, among other things, to have a better overview of all the options available to him in order to make better use of his financial resources. Sensitized to the benefits, he will be able to better understand the impact of his decisions.

Most people who take part in the “Take Charge of Retirement P.E.M.S.R.” training tell us that they would have liked to have received the economic training for this course at least 10 or 15 years before. But the 3-day training “P.E.M.S.R. Planned in the BC is more relevant to the needs of people at the end of their careers. So we try the experience of developing accessible content earlier. The objective is to stimulate the interest of the participant and help him to acquire sufficient basic knowledge in order to develop (with specialists) a financial strategy of his own.

The session will be held at the Union office on Friday, January 19, 2018, from 11 am to 3 pm and on Saturday, January 20th, 2018 from 7 am to 3 pm. The Union will release you from your duties for 4 hours on Fridays. You will be paid for these 4 hours if you volunteer for the rest of the training on Saturday. You will not receive any other form of retribution. We suggest you bring your lunch on both days and dine directly on site to maximize training time.

To apply send us your name by email before December 14, 2018.

Thank you
